Finally a clear, cool non windy night!
The wind has been murder for long exposures lately, I was fortunate to capture this one.
9 photo HDR Panorama Taken from Weehawkens Hamilton Park. I usually shoot from down on the river front, with this one I wanted to capture a little more depth to the NYC waterfront so I shot from above.
Tone mapped in Photomatix, initial Lightroom processing, final work on CS5.
It was a very nice evening, almost no wind..

I had knee Surgery earlier yesterday which I guess will allow me more time to Edit & Post some work which I'm really behind on..
These little Guys are fun to shoot, I also like the contrast between their face and body. Capturing both in full sun can be a challenge thou..
Enjoy them... remember to click on photos for larger view!

While Photographing right at the end of golden Hour I had packed all my equipment and was leaving when I saw the reflection of the buildings on an area of the river exposed due to low tide.
Three quick shots followed and the HDR below was created. I tried to angle in the E.S.B but I was unable to....
The rocks were Illuminated by the lights from the soccer field at the new Weehawken Waterfront Park
If you havent visited this park yet for the most majestic view of Mid-town Manhattan try to a.s.a.p. it's worth the view!

NYC @ Golden Hour.
For those that do not know this is the premier time of day just after the sun sets, the color as seen by the camera only lasts a few minutes before it turns to black.
Three image HDR processed in Photomatix and Sharpened in CS5.
Canon 5d MK II with 24-105 f4 lens.

I made this Panorama today from a total of 24 HDR individual exposures, processed in Photomatix, and then merged in Photoshop CS5.
I waited for the sun to begin to set to capture the golden color but the color just never materialized,
However I think it still works..
Thanks for viewing!

Tried some Night time NYC waterfront work tonite to take advantage of the Blue E.S.B. from the New Weehawken Waterfront Park.
The wind was Howling! I need to weight down the Gitzo Tripod Even more.
This was the best of the bunch. A total of 6 Shots processed in Photomatix then merged in CS5.

Hello, just starting this blog and project which is to capture, experiment with, and display NYC landscapes, street photography, and some of my other work.
I will be experimenting with many different ways to post process the final work and as a work in progress share my work.
The above image was taken from Brooklyn Bridge Park a place I plan on visiting quite often, 3 image HDR processed on Photomix. Slightly Colorized.
Thank you for taking the time to stop by all comments are welcome!
