Finally a clear, cool non windy night!

The wind has been murder for long exposures lately, I was fortunate to capture this one.

9 photo HDR Panorama Taken from Weehawkens Hamilton Park. I usually shoot from down on the river front, with this one I wanted to capture a little more depth to the NYC waterfront so I shot from above.

Tone mapped in Photomatix, initial Lightroom processing, final work on CS5.

It was a very nice evening, almost no wind..

I had knee Surgery earlier yesterday which I guess will allow me more time to Edit & Post some work which I'm really behind on..

These little Guys are fun to shoot, I also like the contrast between their face and body.  Capturing both in full sun can be a challenge thou..

Enjoy them... remember to click on photos for larger view!

B&W I love the Contrast.

Great little subjects!

While Photographing right at the end of golden Hour I had packed all my equipment and was leaving when I saw the reflection of the buildings on an area of the river exposed due to low tide.

Three quick shots followed and the HDR below was created.  I tried to angle in the E.S.B but I was unable to....

NYC @ Golden Hour.

For those that do not know this is the premier time of day just after the sun sets, the  color as seen by the camera only lasts a few minutes before it turns to black.

I waited for the sun to begin to set to capture the golden color but the color just never materialized,
However I think it still works..

Tried some work today with the Hi tech 10 stop filter.  It was quite windy again, the walkway on left was moving and bouncing.

75 seconds f16 100 ISO.

Processed thru Nik Silver Effects Pro, I think B& W gives the water more character..

Hello, just starting this blog and project which is to capture, experiment with, and display NYC landscapes, street photography, and some of my other work.

I will be experimenting with many different ways to post process the final work and as a work in progress share my work.
